John McCain’s Speech Thursday night was a wonderful reintroduction to what it means to be a Republican.
When one reads, Lincoln, TR, and Reagan, the same themes are always present. John McCain reminded us all what it means to be a citizen of the greatest country on earth and a member of the greatest party, which has the greatest history of radical defense of the individual, and of our nation. From individual freedom, to regulation of the trusts, to ensuring voter rights, to cleaning the environment, to maintaining a strong defense and reducing tax burdens for all, the Republican party has always stood for and defended the right of opportunity for the individual.
Republicans look forward to the future and the opportunities that will come to us; I heard that in John’s speech as well.
It is very funny, but in listening to John’s speech I heard in the simple straight forward manner in that he speaks, don’t ask what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.
John will be a great Republican president in the model of our past great leaders, a President for all Americans!
